My name is Martin Slag, and I live in the City of Champions.

My short fiction has appeared in Fourteen HillsBerkeley Fiction Review, Kennesaw Review, Morpheus Tales, Barbaric Yawp, and a few other places. I am represented by Rachel Ekstrom of the Irene Goodman Literary Agency.

I created this blog on the advice of my psychiatrist, who suggested I work through my feelings of anger and inadequacy stemming from years of professional rejection and literary obscurity. This blog is a space for me to reflect on the writing process–from creation to completion; submission to publication.

It is also a place for me to showcase my extensive collection of rejection letters, and to analyze the shit out of them.

I welcome all comments, complaints, death threats, and donations.

Your blog is funny. If you don’t continue writing funny things about your rejection letters I will kill you in some horrible manner. If you do, however, I will send you money…and a time puppy. Also, your face is funny looking.
